Three year old K has developed a ridiculously annoying habit recently. When in a conversation with more than one other person, she repeats EVERYTHING. I know she thinks she’s being helpful – and it would be helpful – if one of us were hearing impaired.
*Sitting at the breakfast table*
Me: “After you’ve eaten your breakfast, we can go a check for eggs.”
K: “Dad! Mum said that after I’ve finished my breakfast we can go and check for eggs!”
MrJB: “Yeah, that sounds like fun.”
K: “Mum! Dad said that sounds like fun!”
Me: “You need to get dressed first too.”
K: “I need to get dressed first too, Dad.”
MrJB: “You will. It’s cold outside, you’ll probably need a jumper.”
K: “I’ll probably need a jumper, Mum! Dad said it’s cold outside.”
I could go on, but you get the picture.
I said; I could go on, but you get the picture.
